#1: My Parents Made My Wife a Stocking for Christmas
Nothing says “welcome to the family” like… a single white athletic sock hanging proudly between full-on, hand-decorated heirloom stockings. The others are bejeweled, stitched, personalized works of art—hers is giving gym class lost-and-found with a Post-it name tag. It’s festive in the most unintentionally hilarious way.

You just know the parents realized they forgot her stocking about five minutes before bed and grabbed the nearest clean sock they could find. Honestly? It’s kind of charming. Awkward, yes, but also peak “we tried” energy. Next year, hopefully she gets an upgrade… or at least a matching pair.
